December 20 – WELCOME TO MADINAH AL-MUNAWWARAH

Our journey begins in the City of the Prophet (saww). Upon landing at Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport (MED), our team will receive the group and escort you by private air-conditioned coach to our hotel, just steps from Masjid al-Nabawi.

After check-in and time to rest, we gather in the evening for our orientation session — a walkthrough of the Umrah rites, the etiquette (adab) of ziyarah, and the days ahead. We then make our way together to Masjid al-Nabawi for our first salaat in the presence of the Holy Prophet (saww).

Timeline Image 2

December 21 – ZIYARAH OF MADINAH

We dedicate this day to the sacred sites of Madinah. In the morning, we present ourselves at Jannat al-Baqi, offering our salaams to the A'immah of Baqi (as) — Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba, Imam Zayn al-Abidin, Imam Muhammad al-Baqir, and Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (peace be upon them all) — and the noble companions and family of the Prophet (saww) who rest there.

We continue to Masjid Ghamama, then walk through the historic quarter of Mahalla Banu Hashim and visit Masjid Ali (as).

The afternoon and evening are yours — for personal du'a, recitation, and unhurried worship within Masjid al-Nabawi.

December 22 – THE LANDMARKS OF MADINAH

A full-day guided excursion through the living history of Islam:

Masjid Quba — the first masjid established in Islam, where the Prophet (saww) himself laid the foundation
Masjid al-Qiblatain — where the direction of prayer was turned toward the Ka'bah
The Seven Mosques (Sab'ah Masajid) — overlooking the site of the Battle of Khandaq
Mount Uhud — where we stand at the resting place of the martyrs and offer ziyarah to Sayyiduna Hamza (as), the Master of Martyrs

We return to the hotel in the evening to rest and prepare our hearts — and our luggage — for the journey to the House of Allah.

December 23 – MIQAT, THE JOURNEY & UMRAH

This morning we bid farewell to Madinah. En route, we stop at the Miqat of Dhul Hulayfah (Masjid al-Shajarah), where we don the ihram and make our niyyah for Umrah, our talbiyah rising as we travel.

We board the high-speed Haramain train to Makkah al-Mukarramah and check into our hotel near Masjid al-Haram.

That evening, under the guidance of our group scholar, we perform the rites of Umrah together: Tawaf of the Holy Ka'bah, the two rak'ats at Maqam Ibrahim, Sa'i between Safa and Marwah, taqsir, and Tawaf al-Nisa with its prayer.

Timeline Image 5

December 24 – ZIYARAH OF MAKKAH & THE SITES OF HAJJ

Having completed our Umrah, we spend the morning tracing the geography of Hajj:

Jabal al-Rahmah in the plain of Arafat — the mountain of mercy and du'a
Mina and Muzdalifah — where the hujjaj gather each Dhul Hijjah
Masjid al-Khaif and the Jamarat

The evening is reserved for personal ibadah at Masjid al-Haram — tawaf, du'a, and quiet reflection before the Ka'bah.

Timeline Image 6

December 25 – IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE PROPHET (saww)

Jabal al-Noor — we look upon the Cave of Hira, where the first verses of the Holy Qur'an descended
Jabal al-Thawr — the cave that sheltered the Prophet (saww) during the Hijrah
Masjid al-Jinn and Jannat al-Mu'alla — where we offer salaams at the resting place of Sayyida Khadijah (as), the Mother of the Believers

In the evening, we sit together for an open majlis and Q&A — reflecting on our Umrah, the lessons of the journey, and carrying its spirit home. Those departing perform Tawaf al-Wada, the farewell tawaf, at Masjid al-Haram.

Timeline Image 7

December 26 – CLOSING CEREMONY

A final day in the shadow of the Holy Ka'bah. We gather as a group for our closing ceremony — du'as, reflections, and gratitude for the tawfeeq of this journey — with the remainder of the day free for final tawaf and worship.

December 27 – DEPARTURES & ONWARD TO IRAQ

We check out of the hotel and travel together by private coach to King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED), Jeddah — one caravan, two paths onward.

For those continuing to the Ziyarah of Iraq: our journey does not end — it deepens. We board our flight from Jeddah to Najaf al-Ashraf together, carrying the light of the Haramain toward the shrine of Amir al-Mu'mineen (as), insha'Allah.

For those returning home: we bid you farewell at Jeddah with du'as for a safe journey and an accepted Umrah — hearts full, insha'Allah, and already longing to return.

December 27 – THE ZIYARAH OF IRAQ: NAJAF, KARBALA, KADHIMAYN & SAMARRA

DEC 27 — ARRIVAL IN NAJAF AL-ASHRAF

From the Haramain to the gate of the City of Knowledge. Our group lands together at Al-Najaf International Airport, where our local team receives us for the short transfer to our hotel, moments from the Haram of Amir al-Mu'mineen, Imam Ali (as).

After check-in, we gather for an evening orientation — the rhythm of the days ahead, the adab of Ziyarah in the shrine cities, and a moment to set our intentions.

Then, the moment the heart has waited for: we present ourselves at the shrine of Imam Ali (as), reciting his ziyarah together beneath the golden dome.

Timeline Image 2

December 28 – THE SACRED GROUND OF NAJAF & KUFA

Morning: We walk through Wadi-us-Salaam — the Valley of Peace — the largest cemetery on earth, where prophets and believers await the return of their Master.

Afternoon: We continue to the Grand Masjid of Kufa, where Imam Ali (as) stood in prayer, and where he was struck in the mihrab during Fajr. Our ziyarahs in Kufa include:

Muslim ibn Aqeel (as) — the ambassador of Imam Husayn (as) to Kufa
Hani ibn Urwah (as) — who gave his life sheltering Muslim
Mukhtar al-Thaqafi — who rose to avenge the blood of Karbala
The House of Imam Ali (as) — the humble home of the Commander of the Faithful
Maytham al-Tammar (as) — the loyal companion who spoke the truth from the gallows

Evening: We return to Najaf for dinner and unhurried ziyarah at the Haram.

Timeline Image 3

December 29 – THE MOSQUES OF NAJAF & KUFA

A morning devoted to three sanctuaries steeped in meaning:

Masjid Hannana — where, it is narrated, the pillar leaned in grief as the head of Imam Husayn (as) passed by
Masjid Kumayl — resting place of Kumayl ibn Ziyad, keeper of the du'a that carries his name, which we recite together
Masjid Sahla — among the most sacred mosques on earth, bound to the awaited reappearance of Imam al-Mahdi (aj), where we offer the a'maal of the maqams

Evening: Rest, reflection, and preparation of the heart — tomorrow, we travel to Karbala.

Timeline Image 4

December 30 – TO KARBALA

There is no journey like the road to Karbala. We depart Najaf by private coach, tracing the path between the two Harams, and check into our hotel steps from Bayn al-Haramayn.

Evening: We enter the courtyard together for our first ziyarah of Imam Husayn (as), Sayyid al-Shuhada, and his loyal standard-bearer, Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas (as). The remainder of the night is yours — for tears, for du'a, for standing where the world's grief and hope meet.

Timeline Image 5

December 31 – THE LANDMARKS OF ASHURA

We spend this day walking the ground of the tenth of Muharram:

Khaymagah — the site of the tents of the Ahlulbayt (as)
Tal al-Zaynabiyya — the rise from which Sayyida Zaynab (sa) looked upon the battlefield
Maqam Ali al-Akbar (as) — where the young image of the Prophet (saww) fell
Maqam Ali al-Asghar (as) — the station of the infant of Karbala
Maqam Imam al-Zaman (aj) — the station of the Awaited One
Maqam Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (as)
Maqam al-Qamah — by the waters where Abbas (as) refused to drink

Evening: Free for personal ziyarah — and as the world marks its new year, we welcome ours in the courtyard of Imam Husayn (as). There is no better place on earth to begin again.

Timeline Image 6

January 1 – KADHMAYN & SAMARRA: A DAY WITH FOUR IMAMS

A full-day journey north to complete our ziyarah of the Imams of Iraq.

Kadhimayn:

Imam Musa al-Kadhim (as) — the seventh Imam, whose patience outlasted the dungeons of the tyrants
Imam Muhammad al-Jawad (as) — the ninth Imam, the young gate of generosity

Samarra:

Imam Ali al-Hadi (as) — the tenth Imam
Imam Hasan al-Askari (as) — the eleventh Imam, father of the Awaited
The Sardab — the sacred cellar associated with the occultation of Imam al-Mahdi (aj)

Evening: We return to Karbala, hearts heavy and full, to rest near the Haram.

Timeline Image 7

July 2 – GIVING BACK & FINAL ZIYARAHS

Morning: Ziyarah is not only what we receive — it is what we give. We visit a local orphanage in Karbala, spending time with the children of the city that gave everything, and offering our support in the name of the Ahlulbayt (as).

We then complete our final ziyarahs:

Hurr ibn Yazid al-Riyahi (as) — the commander who crossed from the army of Yazid to the side of Husayn (as), and was the first to fall
Tiflan-e-Muslim (as) — the two young sons of Muslim ibn Aqeel, martyred in innocence

Evening: Our closing gathering — group du'a, shared reflections, and a farewell ziyarah at Bayn al-Haramayn.

Timeline Image 8

July 3 – DEPARTURE

We check out and transfer by private coach to Al-Najaf International Airport for our return flights — leaving the soil of Karbala behind, but never its message. We depart, insha'Allah, as the Ahlulbayt (as) would have us depart: transformed, grateful, and promised to return.
